WRECK-IT RALPH
The scene I have chosen to expand on is the environment within the 'diet cola mountain'. At one point of the film vanellope describes this environment as a 'unfinished bonus level' of her game. It is my idea to expand on this environment incorporating the idea of mentos to create a mentos mine.

Camera Shots and Environment.
Screenshots from scene in film.

Camera shots:
*POV of track
*Low angle and high angle
*Wide shots

Colour Pallet and Lighting

The colour pallet of the scene is determined by the food/sweets which have been used to create the environment, In this case:

*Orange, golden, brown of the cola and caramel stalagmites. The cola spring is also remnant of lava, this is because of its texture and colouring which makes it look hot.

*Various other shades of brown are used for the pretzel construction of the unfinished bridge as well as the chocolate bases of the structure. There is also a texture used to create the food more realistically, yet the environment still has that cartoonish look.

*Pink and white are the chosen wafer colours of the bridge track, a pastel green colour for the sour tape which it used as the barrier for the upper tracks, and white for the mentos stalactites which hang from the celling above.

Lighting

* There is lighting from above, this is a white glow which comes from the mentos stalactites.
* A caramel/golden lighting is used to light the darker areas of the cave with torches.
* There is as a caramel/ golden glow from the Cola spring.
* Overall the environment has more shadows than lighting, this helps to show that the environment is underground and has no lighting from the sun.

Construction materials, foods and textures of environment

Lighting

For lighting Iv'e used a combination of directional light and spot lights. The spot lights have a colour of pink and orange, this is reflected onto the surface of the model- especially the white mentos. The coloured lighting really gives the model the extra look which makes it look as if it belongs in the world of 'Wreck-it Ralph.

I have tried creating fog to cover the ground of my model and give it move atmosphere and depth
